What We Wish We Could Say to the Ones Who Will Never Hear Us
There are silent stories many women carry. Stories that were never spoken aloud, not because they weren’t real, but because they were too real to be understood.
Not every connection gets closure.
Not every love has a chance to exist in the light.
And yet, those stories still live in our bodies that are tucked beneath strength, woven into everyday moments, surfacing when we least expect them.
Sometimes, we wish we could say:
“I saw you — not the version you present to the world, but the truth behind your eyes.”
The one who smiled while silently aching. The one who felt something too deep to explain, but buried it anyway.
Sometimes, we wish we could say:
“I never needed you to choose me. I just wanted you to choose honesty.”
Not for the sake of romance, but for the sake of liberation.
Because deep connections aren’t about claiming someone, they’re about awakening the parts of ourselves we didn’t know were asleep.
There are women who never had the chance to say how much it hurt.
The pretending. The emotional distance.
The way they watched someone walk away from a sacred bond as if it meant nothing while it meant the world to them.
They smiled when they wanted to cry.
They whispered goodbyes that no one heard.
They grieved something the world would never validate.
But even in the ache, there is grace.
There are women who’ve learned to forgive the silence.
Not because they were asked to but because they understood that not everyone is ready for the truth their souls were built to hold.
And most beautifully, there are women who’ve found peace.
Not because the connection faded but because they learned to carry love without carrying the wound.
If you are one of them…
If you’ve ever loved quietly, deeply, and without return…
If you’ve ever wished someone could hear what your heart never got to say..
With love,
Sisterhood in Action
